Why Join?

1. You can make a difference.

• Children are safer because we passed Jessica's Law to require prison time for sex abuse of children.

• Victims will get more of the restitution that they are owed because we established a restitution office.

• Victims with head wounds will now be screened for brain injuries.

 

2. Political activism can be therapeutic.

Many victims have regained a sense of wholeness and empowerment by advocating for laws that fix the criminal justice system.
